Bob Baxendell spent his life in retail supermarket operations. His transition to the Home Inspector field comes after nearly 40 years in progressively responsible retail management positions ranging from beginning store operations to executive level. During this time, he relocated on numerous occasions both as a single and in a family situation. He had all the learning experiences that a young & naïve home buyer makes and still remains particularly sensitive to those.
As Bob's retail career grew, his responsibilities beyond store operations came to encompass New Store development and Facilities oversight, which included: Construction, Major Remodels, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Flooring, Lighting, Green Compliance, Disaster Recovery, Hazardous Materials Abatement and all other related functions in oversight of multi-store operations in up to seven states. Such roles combined with his training, have made him keenly aware of all the parallel aspects associated with home construction and upkeep.
Bob is a graduate of Penn State University. Additional Educational Credentials include: Certification by the prestigious American Home Inspector Training Insitute (AHIT), successful completion of the National Home Inspectors Examination, Certified as a Professional Inspector by InterNACHI, certified as a Radon Inspector by InterNACHI and certified as a Pool & Spa Inspector by InterNACHI.
